A Walk in the Sand
Growing up in Florida, a beach day or weekend getaway was common. Walking along the shore looking for the sea’s treasures has always been a favorite pasttime.
I love the way every day is new at the beach. The shifting sands, the waves, the sunrise and sunset, clouds transforming the landscape, and new treasure to find. It is exhilarating to walk along the shoreline with my toes in the sand, warm waves tickling my feet, a cool ocean breeze, in search of special shells that roll up on the shore.
